The sound of English.

I'm in bed drinking my apple cider tea procrastinating 
before I must bolt out of bed and get on with my Wednesday.

And then I stop.


Hello!  Oh my goodness you guys, I've somehow picked up three more followers and haven't even been posting! Welcome. :)


 The days keep on coming and flying so fast that sometimes I have so many things on my mind I must remember to stop, and breathe it all out.  In my attempt to hold on and control I keep forgetting to let go because it's not until you let go that life is free to go in the direction you want it to.


And when I pause... 
I'm so happy to live in a world where Octobers exist. :)


Focusing on the things I've loved lately: the taste of hot tea slightly burning my tongue, the scent of chimney smoke rising into crisp air and through rustling pines, the billowing clouds above hinting of great storms to come later, and the crunch of leaves under my brown boots.  We need to slow down from the running and just stop to look and listen to what's happening around us.

Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish.


One of my favorite quotes of all time from someone I've always admired;
he was a brilliant, innovative, visionary, creative soul with incredible inspiration to share about taking chances, following your heart, and believing in the great potential of a vision long before the dream became a reality. 
 I'm quite saddened by his death tonight.
