We'll go on forever.

"I guess when you're young,
you just believe that there'll be many people you'll connect with.
Later in life, you'll realize this only happens
a few times."
-unknown

"I have a million things to talk to you about.
All I want in this world is you.
I want to see you and talk.
I want the two of us to begin
everything from the beginning."
-Haruki Murakami

"For true love is inexhaustible;
the more you give
the more you have."
-Antoine de Saint Exupery

"With the end of my breath
which is the beginning of yours."
-Andre Breton

When I first heard this sweet song it seemed familiar almost as though it'd felt like home.  Every beat, vocal, lyric and the overall mellow simplicity honestly hit me more than any dramatic, dirty breakdown in a progressive house song could.  I put it on as I drive and it just keeps me floating.  So I'd like to say from myself and most likely all of the completely  smitten Kaskade fans in the world:

Thank you.

That is all.

Love,
Victoria

"You and I
Could paint the sky together
As the world goes by
we'll go on forever."

Already there.

I have drowned too many times waiting and believing
Waiting in a corridor staring at windows
Waiting for the phone
A knock,
a burst,
a letter,
an out-stretched hand,
and an answer,
all the while
aching inside,
seeking these things....
that were already there.

The reality of everything.

"I see you everywhere,
in the stars, in the river,
to me you're everything that exists;
the reality of everything."
-Virginia Woolf

Hi lovies!

Sorry I've been so MIA lately.  There's so much going on right now that I'm not feeling much control over but am trying to accept it and do the very best I can. <3  I miss this blog and have been playing with many ideas surrounding it so hopefully by autumn I'll be writing regularly again.  I hope that you've been finding happiness and inspiration in your own lives, and also that you'll enjoy this new favorite tune I've recently fallen in love with. Grace Potter and Kenny Chesney are simply so real and have such sweet chemistry, it's refreshing. I can't help but want to live in this gorgeously filmed video that also gracefully captures southern California; a place which more often than not, has lately been appearing in my dreams and beckoning me west as if knowing my nature inspired and highly spirited self needs that glorious pacific fueled fill again.

It's funny how the soul of a place
can haunt you as though it was a person, and
 I suppose we all have our vices that sometimes make us crazy;
they always tend to tug at the weakest part of oneself,
that part of us that quietly craves them.

"Baby here I am again
Kicking dust in the canyon wind
Waiting for that sun to go down
Made it up Mulholland Drive
Hell bent on getting high
High above the lights of town

'Cause you and Tequila make me crazy
Run like poison in my blood
One more night could kill me, baby
One is one too many,
One more is never enough

Thirty days and thirty nights
Been putting up a real good fight
And there were times I thought you'd win
It's so easy to forget
The bitter taste the morning left
I swore I wouldn't go back there again

'Cause you and Tequila make me crazy
Run like poison in my blood
One more night could kill me baby.
One is one too many
One more is never enough.

When it comes to you
All the damage I could do
It's always your favorite sins
That do you in."

Sparks fly.

Good morning!! :)

On this beautiful Monday in August I'm going to post a little song I find to be magical that is acutally completely out of the ordinary than the typical music in my blog. I think every woman (or perhaps man) on earth can relate to this song either in our past or present. The thing about Taylor Swift is she brilliantly captures the yearning, confused, thrilling innocence; relatable hyper- romantically pained streak, and heart's beautiful turmoil we all had while we are in those growing stages in songs presented in what she refers to as "open letters."  These emotions followed many of us long into adulthood, when we are more removed from naiveity with years of experience and wisdom accompanying us on this journey through life.  Taylor can be an unflinching reminder of our youth, seeming to squeeze every fan's hand reassuringly a though her honest lyrics, while quietly reassuring them they're not alone in their insecurities.

Have a lovely summer day. :)

"Speak now or forever hold your peace,' the words said by preachers at the end of wedding ceremonies all over the world, right before the vows. It's a last chance for protest, a moment that makes everyone's heart race, and a moment I've always been strangely fascinated by. So many fantasize about bursting into a church, saying what they'd kept inside for years like in the movies. In real life, it rarely happens.
Real life is a funny thing, you know.  In real life, saying the right thing at the right moment is beyond crucial.  So crucial, in fact, that most of us start to hesitate, for fear of saying the wrong thing at the wrong time.  But lately, what I've begun to fear more than that is letting the moment pass without saying anything.  I think most of us fear reaching the end of our life, and looking back regretting moments when we didn't speak up.  When we didn't say 'I love you.' When we should've said 'I'm sorry.' When we didn't stand up for ourselves or someone who needed help."
-Taylor Swift

"Get me with those green eyes baby
as the lights go down
Give me something that'll haunt me
when you're not around"
