Float me on a silver cloud.

Happy Sunday. :)

I just returned from a wonderful trip back to Rhode Island to see Phish (one of my all time favorite bands), friends, and family.  Five days is never enough but honestly....

But.... why am I living so far away again?  That is a lonnnnng trip!!  Really long.
Despite the eight hours of being glued to a tiny seat, I did get to take some lovely photos.  Where else but on a plane do you get to chase a glorious sunset from the east to the west coast watching it dip from the plains to the mountains, to the Pacific ocean; then finally slip into the horizon leaving trails of pink across the ocean as it vanishes?

There's something beautiful about seeing the sky from well.... the sky. This is why I always recommend window seats. ;)

Here's one of my all-time favorite Phish songs.  I found it at the age of fifteen and would close my eyes and drift away every night to its magic, envisioning a person existing only in daydreams that would in fact, take me to another place, in another time.

"Take me to another place, she said
Take me to another time
Run with me across the oceans
Float me on a silver cloud

If I could I would, but I don't know how
If I could I would, but I don't know how
If I could I would and I'd take you now

Stay with me till time turns over
I want to feel my feet leave the ground
Take me where the whispering breezes
Can lift me up and spin me around

If I could I would...
Hear you laughing as we go
Flipping backward through the doors and through the windows...
I'm melting into nothing

If I could I would, but I don't know how
If I could I would, but I don't know how
If I could I would and I'd take you now"
