I am so, so, so, so madly in love with this song.  The National has always been one of my "heart" bands- a band that has created a never-ending soft spot that only deepens with every album they release. High Violet drops May 11th, and has been so addictive, I cannot stop thinking, or boasting about it.  Their new music has struck me so hard they've literally made their way into my nightly dreams. 

Sometimes music can bring forth that beautiful blend of relation and passion that hits you where it aches, and in this case, High Violet has successfully managed to do just that.  It hurts.  So.  Good. I would venture to say that when you find an album that stirs such deep emotion within oneself, it's nearly the equivalent of falling in love.
